The Bethany House, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to strengthening families and empowering youth in Miami-Dade County. Our mission is to provide comprehensive services that promote emotional and mental wellness, family nurturing, health education, literacy, community development, and resiliency. We focus on fostering healthy family systems, personal growth, and emotional well-being. By building a solid foundation for stronger families and healthier, more stable communities, our programs engage youth and families, equipping them with essential tools to support emotional wellness, healthy lifestyles, resiliency, and personal development. In honor of my mom..
The Bethany House will like to introduce our newest initiative "Chic Care" that aims to provide support to families and women who are battling cancer. Chic Care will serve as a navigator support ensuring women clearly understand their treatment options, are serviced by qualified oncologist, identify gaps in their oncology care, make the best decisions for their life, and promote their emotional wellness during their cancer journey. Meet Our Founder & CEO
Ebony McNichols, MSW, CAP Mental Health Wellness Coach Content Creator Having a deep-rooted passion for service, our founder has dedicated her career to uplifting individuals and families in the Miami-Dade County community. As a Florida International University and Barry University alumni Ebony has served in various roles as a master leveled clinical social worker relating to roles in case management, mental health therapy, mental wellness coach as the owner and founder of Luxe Wellness, LLC. During her career with United Healthcare Ebony has served as a community health worker following promotion as the clinical coordinator covering region 11 for the chronic illness program. Serving the chronically ill adults and children, maternity, and mental health populations. Moving in her passion of youth development Ebony's recent career path has allowed her to serve in higher education at a local university serving as the Field Education Coordinator and Professor of Social Work. Ebony has an extensive background in mental health therapy serving as an outpatient mental health therapist in the Miami Dade Community. Ebony has also served the substance abuse population as a Certified Addictions Professional (CAP) through the state of Florida. Ebony brings a wealth of experience and compassion to the non-profit sector and communities in which she serves. The Bethany House, Inc. was born from a personal journey of trauma and resilience following the tragic murder of her oldest brother as a result of youth violence. This life-altering event ignited a mission to bridge gaps in family systems and provide individuals, families, and youth with the nurturing support they need to thrive. Through enriching programs and dedicated advocacy, The Bethany House, Inc. stands as a beacon of hope, fostering strength and resilience for individuals, families, and communities.
